I ever felt the pain

Aku ingin mencintaimu dengan sederhana, seperti udara, tak begitu terasa, namun begitu berharga di setiap hembusan nafas di raga. Aku tak ingin mengibaratkanmu dengan bidadari, bidadari itu bersayap dan bisa terbang kapanpun dia mau, aku tak mau kamu punya sayap dan terbang meninggalkanku kapanpun itu. Tak juga dengan bulan maupun bintang, seperti yang banyak di umbar beratus pasangan di sana. Bintang dan bulan itu hanya pelengkap keindahan gelapnya malam.

Bersajakku dalam kesepian, bernyanyiku dalam keramaian. Kalau memang ada hal yang lebih indah dari jatuh cinta, aku yakin jatuh cinta itu bukan untukmu.  Memang benar, hal yang paling percuma di dunia ini adalah menasehati orang yang jatuh cinta. Dan kamu akan melakukan hal percuma itu kalau kamu ingin menasehatiku untuk saat ini.

Jatuh cinta itu bukan seperti bunga mawar, jatuh cinta itu seperti bunga melati. Andai melati tak berpisah dengan durinya, mungkin kini ia akan menjadi saingan terberat sang mawar.

Jatuh cinta itu bukan seperti bintang, tak juga seperti bulan. Karena kita bisa melihatnya di setiap malam. Namun jatuh cinta itu pelangi, kita jarang melihatnya namun begitu indah.

Jika cinta itu pohon, cintaku kepadamu ialah pohon kelapa. Tumbuh ke atas tanpa bercabang.

Kalau cinta adalah kehidupan. Cinta lah satu-satunya kehidupan yang tidak ada kesedihan. Bagaimana dengan rindu? Bukankah rindu itu menyakitkan ketika dua insan yang jatuh cinta tidak saling bertemu? Oh, tentu tidak. Rindu sejati adalah ketika dua insan yang tak saling terhubung tetap mendoakan satu sama lain dalam diam nya.

Cinta butuh pengorbanan? Aku rasa tidak. Tidak ada cinta yang meminta korban. Saat kau merasa berkorban, saat itu pula cinta mu pudar. Cinta yang tulus adalah memberi dan menerima. Apa ketika memberi kita merasa berkorban? Kalau memang iya, berarti kamu bukan sedang jatuh cinta.
